A Message from the Club President

With the new Rotary year comes…….fresh energy and excitement in anticipation of another fabulous year for Yadkinville Rotary. Thanks to all who have gone before, and especially to Stephen this past year, we have a rich history of strong leadership and an outstanding record of Rotary successes.

             At the beginning of my tenure as your president, I have the responsibility to review and set new goals for our club. I have been giving this some thought. Listed below are some of what I would like to see our club accomplish for 2011-2012:

* Membership - To increase club membership to 23. Currently at 20 members, this represents a 15% growth.

* Community Service - To add two new programs for the year. We have already applied for one District Simplified Grants to help the Yadkin Children's Center with a mentoring and training program. 

* Family of Rotary - To have bi-monthly dinners or other events for club members and their families.

* Polio Plus - To meet or exceed our required financial commitment to the Polio Plus effort.

* Youth - To work more closely with the Interact Club at Yadkin Early College helping them to grow and become more successful.

* District Conference - To help plan and execute a highly successful 2012 District Conference for our own Distict Governor Terry Titus.

* Fun - To have more fun and fellowship than ever before!
